Privacy policy

Information on the processing of personal data of Cenowyraj shop customers. The document is divided into a part on cookies and a part on other purposes of processing.

We have created this privacy policy for visitors to https://cenowyraj.pl, i.e. the Cenowyraj online shop.

The controller of your personal data is Łukasz Kierat, an entrepreneur running a business under the name Z.P.H.U MAKPOL Łukasz Kierat, ul. Kościelna 23, 42-142 Ługi-Radły, entered in CEIDG (Central Register and Information on Economic Activity), NIP (tax ID): 5741980454.

In all matters relating to the processing of personal data, you can contact us at [email protected]. You can also contact us in writing at our registered office address.

I. Cookies — what they are and which ones we use

We use cookies and other similar mechanisms to understand how our Website is used and for marketing purposes, including displaying advertisements elsewhere on the Internet.

A cookie is a small text file saved by a website on your computer, phone or other device. It contains data about your use of the website.

Some cookies are necessary for the Shop to work and cannot be switched off. In other cases, we ask for your consent on your first visit — we do not use advertising or analytics cookies without your consent.

Necessary cookies ensure the proper operation and management of the website and store your privacy settings. Functional cookies enable additional tools, e.g. chat, the reviews and ratings module, recommending a product to a friend or the list of recently viewed products.

A list of the functional tools used, together with an explanation of how they work, can be found in the cookie consent management panel.

Legal matters relating to cookies

The legal basis for using necessary cookies is our legitimate interest, i.e. the right to run a Website supporting our business and the need to keep it secure. The basis for using other cookies is your consent.

The use of cookies, in particular for advertising purposes, may involve profiling. This means that we or marketing companies may create a user profile based on the information collected (e.g. e-mail address, order history, device type, frequency of visits) and use it to make purchasing predictions.

Session cookies expire at the end of the session, i.e. when the Website is closed. Persistent cookies remain in the browser until their expiry date, unless you delete them earlier in your browser settings.

Third-party cookies (analytics, advertising and social media cookies) are subject to those parties' own privacy policies.

II. What data we process and for what purposes

Handling orders and customer accounts: the customer's identification and contact data and order details and history — basis: the contract concluded with you, Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

Contact and handling enquiries: data provided in the contact form or correspondence and the correspondence history — basis: our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Handling complaints and after-sales service (e.g. withdrawal from the contract): identification and contact data, order details, correspondence history — Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Archive: all of the above data, for the purpose of establishing, defending or pursuing claims and demonstrating compliance with GDPR obligations — Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Accounting and tax purposes: identification and contact data and invoice details — fulfilment of tax obligations, Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.

Sales analysis and statistics and marketing purposes: sales and traffic statistics, browsing and purchase history, target group characteristics — our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, whereby marketing using cookies and communications addressed directly to you require your consent.

Providing your data is not mandatory, but it is necessary in order to fulfil an order, issue an invoice, notify you of the order status, or respond to an enquiry or complaint.

How long we process data

We process data related to placing an order for as long as is necessary to fulfil it, and in accordance with accounting and tax regulations.

We process other data for the time necessary to achieve the stated purposes — until our legitimate interest ceases, you raise an objection or you withdraw your marketing consent. Further processing is possible where we are subject to a legal obligation (in particular for tax purposes) and for archiving purposes until claims become time-barred.

Who we share your data with

Your data may be entrusted to: the company providing and maintaining the Shop software (WooCommerce, hosting), an accounting firm, the Website hosting provider, the e-mail hosting provider and other companies whose marketing tools we use.

Data is also passed on to courier companies and payment intermediaries in order to fulfil the order — these companies are separate controllers of personal data.

Your rights

You have the right to: request access to your data, rectification of data, erasure of data, withdrawal of consent to processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, restriction of processing, and to lodge a complaint with the President of the Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (Polish Personal Data Protection Office).

You can exercise your rights free of charge by sending a message to [email protected] or by contacting us in another way.

Appendix No. 1 — analytics and advertising tools

The shop software provider (the WooCommerce platform together with analytics plugins) places cookies on our Website to collect aggregate information about how customers use the shop: pages opened and time spent on them, products viewed, clicks and analytical information about purchases.

This data is used to create aggregate reports containing general information without personal data, which help us optimise the shop and the sales process.
